  5. Prepare 2 of green chillies.
  6. It's 1 tin of pureed/chopped Spinach.
  7. It's 3 cloves of garlic - finely chopped or grated.
  8. It's 1 tsp of salt.
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of cumin powder.
  10. Prepare 1 tsp of coriander powder.
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of chilli powder (or to taste).
  12. Prepare 1 tsp of tumeric powder.
  13. It's 2 of fresh green chillies.

Chicken Palak (chicken spinach curry) step by step

  1. Fry onions and garlic in oil..
  2. Add tin tomatoes, salt, green chillies and all spices. Cook till reduced slightly. (You may keep green chillies whole or chop if you prefer spicier curry).
  3. Add chicken and cook on high till oil rises and the tomatoes have broken down even more, and chicken is nearly fully cooked. (Pic on the bottom of pic.... Can't rotate the pic unfortunately).
  4. Finally, add spinach and a splash of water and continue to cook in medium till water has evaporated and chicken is cooked to tender. You can adjust salt if needed.
  5. Serve with roti, chapati, naan it paratha... And with salad and some yogurt if liked. (Chicken Palak curry on the bottom of pic).
