  1. Prepare 3 tbsp of za’atar seasoning.
  2. It's 6 tbsp of olive oil.
  3. You need 8 of chicken thighs on the bone.
  4. Prepare 6 of garlic cloves.
  5. It's 2 cans of chickpeas.
  6. You need 250 g of greek style yogurt (thick).
  7. Prepare 1 pinch of rock salt.

Easy Za’atar Chicken with Chickpeas step by step

  1. Preheat the oven to 220c/200c fan.
  2. Mix the za’atar in a small bowl with the olive oil.
  3. Prepare the garlic by peeling it then drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  4. Place the chicken into a roasting tray, apply the za’atar mix then add the chickpeas and garlic.
  5. Place in the oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Take the tray out of the oven, remove the garlic (keeping hold of it) and brush the chicken with the juices in the tray. Place back in the oven for a further 15 minutes.
