- You need 3 of diced chicken breasts.
- You need 2 tsp of sweet paprika.
- You need 2 tsp of ground cumin.
- You need 1 tsp of chilli powder.
- You need 100 g of plain yoghurt.
- It's 1 of lemon.
- You need 2 of onions.
- You need 2 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- It's 4 of garlic cloves.
- Prepare 1 of green chilli.
- Prepare of Thumb size ginger.
- Prepare 1 tsp of garam masala.
- You need 2 tsp of fenugreek.
- It's 3 tbsp of tomato purée.
- Prepare 200 ml of chicken stock.
- You need of Naan bread or rice to serve.
Butter Chicken instructions
- Mix paprika, cumin, lemon juice, chilli powder and yoghurt, marinade the chicken for a couple of hours or overnight.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add onion, green chilli, ginger until soft, then add spices and tomato purée and cook for a few more minutes.
- Add stock and marinated chicken and bring to boil then simmer at a low heat for an hour.
- Serve with coriander and rice or a naan or both!.
